The spring/summer months are definitely a lot busier at The Weather Network than the winter months. And that has to do with all of the active weather we see across the country during warmer months, causing us to tweak our regular coverage to focus solely on the storms.
June saw tornado warnings in southwestern Ontario and a series of thunderstorms that required wall-to-wall coverage, as well as the terrible flooding in Alberta which dominated TWN programming for about a week.
Before I get into my July schedule, I just wanted to let my Ontario followers know that I have another book signing of my novel, 60'6": Balls, Strikes, and Baseball Mortality, at the Chapters right across the street from the TWN offices (3050 Vega Blvd, Mississauga, ON; right at Dundas and the 403). The signing is on Saturday, July 13, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Hope to see you there!
Here's my July schedule (it's a busy one). Of course,
depending on what area of the country you live in, you may not be able
