And while I'm definitely not looking forward to a plunge toward sub-zero temperatures, October really is my favourite time of the year for one reason: baseball.
Basically my entire month looks like this: Work at The Weather Network and then come home and sit on my couch watching postseason baseball. I'm almost ashamed to admit how much baseball I will watch this month.
(Quick aside: know what goes great with watching baseball? This)
Speaking of chilly mornings, I continue to experience them firsthand as a reporter for TWN's national morning show. Here's one of the stories I put together in September. It's all about connected car technology. And fear not, I included a myriad of David Hasselhoff in Knight Rider references.
Here's a look at my October schedule. Of course, depending on what area of the country you live in, you may not be able to see me at these times as TWN runs five different feeds: British Columbia, Alberta, GTA, Atlantic and National (all times are ET).
October 4 and 5 - 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
October 6 and 7 - 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
October 11, 12, 13 - 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
October 14 - 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
October 18 and 19 - 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
