October ended with flurries in Southern Ontario and I was in the thick of it. I was reporting from my hometown of Oshawa during trick-or-treating hours and it was COLD.
Part of it is my fault since I wasn't dressed appropriately. In fact, I was dressed like below. Gaston from Beauty and the Beast--I think I nailed it.
November is going to be a busy month. For me, it's going to include a trip to Eastern Ontario for The Weather Network to cover the Remembrance Day Ceremonies at the National War Memorial in Ottawa.
October also included the toughest assignment I've ever had to cover at this point in my broadcasting career. I was live from Hamilton covering the funeral procession for Corporal Nathan Cirillo, who was killed at the National War Memorial on October 22. It was a day of extreme sadness and it was very difficult to maintain composure during TWN's broadcast.
Remembrance Day is definitely going to be a tough, emotional day for all those in attendance and those at home watching from across the country.
Here's a look at my November schedule. Of course, depending on what area of the country you live in, you may not be able to see me at these times as TWN runs five different feeds: British Columbia, Alberta, GTA, Atlantic and National (all times are ET).
November 1 and 2 - 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
November 3 and 4 - 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
